Contacts vs Leads
How do Contacts differ from Leads?
Leads are individuals you are trying to help buy or sell a property with at this very moment. You may have done business with them in the past or they may be brand new clients. Regardless, you are currently working with them to try and complete a transaction.
Contacts are those you have business with in the past. You may have helped them buy/sell their home in the past, or they could be repeat clients who turn to you time and time again for buying investment properties. You are not currently working with contacts on a transaction.
You should stay in touch with contacts as they may need your services again in the future. It's good to keep information about their birthdays or anniversaries so you can easily keep in touch and provide a personal note on their special occasions.
